Michael Ramsauer (director)

Michael Ramsauer (* 1974 in Landshut ) is a German film director and screenwriter .

Life

After graduating from high school in Landshut, Michael Ramsauer worked for two years as a freelance cameraman and camera assistant in Munich . At the end of 1999 he began studying camera at the Vienna Film Academy , and in 2002 he switched to directing .

Ramsauer lives and works as a freelance director and screenwriter in Vienna .

In 2005 Ramsauer received the Thomas Pluch script award and the Diagonale short film award for "echos" and in 2008 the literary mechana scholarship for "Adrian". On September 30, 2016, his film "Mein Fleisch und Blut" will start in cinemas across Austria .
