Michael Rodrigues

Michael Rodrigues (born October 19, 1884 in Ahmednagar , Maharashtra , British India , † October 12, 1964 ) was Bishop of Belgaum .

Life

Michael Rodrigues received on 19 December 1919, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On September 19, 1953, Pope Pius XII appointed him . to the Bishop of Belgaum. The Archbishop of Bombay , Valerian Cardinal Gracias , donated him episcopal ordination on November 30th of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Goa and Daman , José Vieira Alvernaz , and the Bishop of Poona , Andrew Alexis D'Souza .

On March 15, 1964, Michael Rodrigues resigned as Bishop of Belgaum and was appointed titular bishop of Equizetum .
