Michael Schilchegger

Michael Schilchegger (born August 4, 1985 ) is an Austrian politician of the Freedom Party of Austria (FPÖ). Since March 7, 2019, he has been a delegated member of the Austrian Federal Council by the Upper Austrian Landtag .

Life

Michael Schilchegger completed after compulsory schooling and graduation on Bundesrealgymnasium Salzburg to military service as a one-year volunteer (2003-04). He then studied law and political science at the University of Salzburg , completing both studies in 2008 as a Mag. Iur. and 2010 as Mag. phil. From 2010 to 2012 he was a university assistant at the Institute for Constitutional Law and Political Science in the Department of Public Company Law at the University of Linz , where he obtained his doctorate in law in 2012 . From 2012, Schilchegger was a trainee lawyer in Linz , he completed his legal practice in 2013 at the District Court and Regional Court of Linz . He passed the bar exam in February 2015 and has been working as a lawyer since then.

In St. Magdalena Schilchegger acts as FPÖ local party chairman. After the municipal council and mayoral elections in Upper Austria in 2015 , he was a member of the municipal council of the city of Linz from November 12, 2015 , where he was a member of the finance, innovation and constitution as well as the control committee.

After Detlef Wimmer left the Linz City Council on March 7, 2019, Markus Hein took over as Vice Mayor. Michael Raml became Linz city councilor for Hein, Michael Schilchegger took over the Federal Council mandate from Michael Raml. Instead of Schilchegger, Wimmers office manager Zeljko Malesevic moved into the local council. Wimmer is to join the newly founded law firm of Michael Schilchegger.
