That same year he had his first own exhibition at Avrom Isaacs's Greenwich Gallery in Toronto. Since then his work has been shown at exhibitions across Europe, North America and South America. He stayed in New York from 1962 to 1964 , and returned to Toronto in 1972. Between 1961 and 1967 he created several works in different media based on the silhouette of a young woman. A series of eleven sculptures were shown at Expo 67 in the Ontario Pavilion.

He was a participant in Documenta 5 in Kassel in 1972 in the Film Show: New American Cinema department and also represented as an artist at Documenta 6 in 1977. His most famous public works include the sculptures at the Rogers Center sports arena and the Flightstop sculpture at the Eaton Center , which depicts Canada geese inside the mall.

He was originally a professional jazz musician and designed soundtracks for his films, for example New York Eye and Ear Control .

As a pianist, he has performed as a soloist and with other musicians, especially in the group CCMC , which he co-founded, in North America, Europe and Japan. Snow performs regularly internationally in Canada and has recorded more than half a dozen albums since the mid 1970s. He is also internationally known as a sculptor and draftsman.
