Michael W. Bader

Michael W. Bader (born December 26, 1952 in Göppingen ) is a German entrepreneur.

Career

Bader studied German and political science with Martin Greiffenhagen in Stuttgart, among others . He is a board member of the Media Foundation, the successor organization to the IG Third Way Foundation. In the Achberg circle around the sociologist Wilfried Heidt, he was committed to founding the Green Party. Michael W. Bader is an anthroposophist and is still considered one of the leading representatives of the so-called Achberg School .

On September 30, 1979, Bader was elected to the state executive committee at the founding party convention of the Baden-Württemberg Greens, to which he was a member until 1980. He then worked on developing green educational work and was the first chairman of the E. F. Schumacher Society from 1980 to 1995 (renamed Society for Political Ecology in 1985, renamed Heinrich Böll Foundation Baden-Württemberg in 1996 ) .

He is particularly interested in the development and establishment of new forms of business and business, which he not least as part of the Achberger Kreis as the “Third Way Company Association” together with Wilfried Heidt , Lukas Beckmann , Peter Schata , Rudolf Saacke , Johannes Stüttgen , Joseph Beuys , Jochen Abeling on the way.
