Michael Warm

Michael Warm (born March 25, 1968 in Nuremberg ) is a German volleyball coach .

Michael Warm learned his specialist knowledge in his hometown of Nuremberg. He worked with the junior team of the German Volleyball Association for five years . From 2005 to 2009 he was a coach at the Bundesliga club SCC Berlin . Warm trained among others Patrick Steuerwald , Sebastian Schwarz , Robert Kromm , Jochen Schöps , Dirk Westphal , Kai Kleefisch and Tobias Krick . He also made a decisive contribution to the development of SMASH-CAMPS , a nationwide volleyball camp for youth players.

In the second half of the 2009/10 season Warm was Romanian champions with the Romanian first division club CS Remat Zalau . Since April 30, 2010 he was the trainer of the Austrian national volleyball team , preparing it for the 2011 home European championships . In August 2011 it extended to the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio. From 2015 to 2018, in addition to his national team work, Michael Warm also looked after the Bundesliga club United Volleys Rhein-Main . Warm has been the head coach of the German record champions VfB Friedrichshafen since summer 2019 and has no longer been the national coach of Austria since November 2019.
