Mikhail Aljaksandrawitsch Audsejeu ( Belarusian Міхаіл Аляксандравіч Аўдзееў , Russian Михаил Александрович Авдеев / Mikhail Avdeyev * 2 February 1982 in Borisov , Byelorussian SSR , Soviet Union ) is a former Belarusian weightlifter .

Career

Audseju was junior vice world champion in 2002. In 2004 he took eleventh place in the class up to 105 kg at the European Championships . In the same year he took part in the Olympic Games in Athens, in which he finished ninth. At the European Championships in 2005 he was eighth. In 2006 he won silver in duels and snatches and gold in pushing at the European Championships . In 2007 he was sixth at the European Championships and seventh at the World Championships .

After a long break, Audsejeu returned to international competition in 2010 and finished sixth at the European Championships and twelfth at the World Championships . In 2011 he reached fourth place in a duel at the European Championships and won bronze in the snatch. At the 2011 World Championships , he finished eighth. In 2012 Audsejeu was third at the European Championships . However, he was tested positive for boldenone and androsterone during the doping control , disqualified and banned for two years.
