Michal Grman (born July 30, 1982 in Liptovský Mikuláš , Czechoslovakia ) is a Slovak ice hockey player who was most recently under contract with HK Ertis Pawlodar in the Kazakh ice hockey league.

Career

Michal Grman began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the youth of the MHk 32 Liptovský Mikuláš , for whose professional team he was active in the extra league from 2000 to 2004 . In addition, the defender played during this period for SK Banska Bystrica in the second-class 1st division , and HKm Nitra in the extra division. Towards the end of the 2003/04 season, Grman moved to HC Sareza Ostrava in the third Czech division, with which he achieved promotion to the first division in the 2004 playoffs , in which the left-shooter played with Ostrava in the following season. The 2005/06 season he began with his league rivals HK Jestřábi Prostějov , before he returned to his ex-club MHk 32 Liptovský Mikuláš in the Slovak extra league during the season. After a year at MsHK Žilina , Grman moved to HC Košice , with whom he was Slovak champion for the first time in the 2008/09 season . He was able to repeat this success with his team in 2010 and 2011. In November 2011 Grman moved within the Extraliga to HC 05 Banská Bystrica and was loaned to HC Karlovy Vary a year later . There he played again until November 2013, before his contract was terminated and Grman moved to Kazakhstan for HK Ertis Pawlodar .
