Michal Kopčo (born January 27, 1988 in Košice ) is a Slovak handball player .

The 1.95 m tall runner played for the German Bundesliga club VfL Gummersbach from 2012 to 2014 . Before that, Kopčo played for Dunaferr SE in Hungary until 2010 and then for one year each for RK Zagreb in Croatia and HT Tatran Prešov in Slovakia. With Zagreb and Prešov he won the championship and cup, respectively. After the 2013/14 season he left Gummersbach and returned to Tatran Prešov. With Prešov he won the Slovak Championship and the Slovak Cup in 2015 and 2016. In the summer of 2016 he moved to the Portuguese first division club Sporting Lisbon . With Sporting he won the EHF Challenge Cup in 2017 and the Portuguese championship in 2017 and 2018. In the 2018/19 season he was under contract with the French first division club US Ivry HB . He then moved to the league competitor Tremblay-en-France Handball .
