Michel Meynaud (born February 23, 1950 in Paris ; † July 10, 2016 there ) was a French composer , conductor and musician.

Michel Meynaud studied in Lausanne , Munich , Montreal and New York .

As a pianist , harpsichordist, organist and conductor , he has premiered numerous works by other composers (including Kramer, Riley , Farren, Goursky, Dusapin ) - many of which are personally dedicated to him.

A number of records (Mozart, Brahms, Bruckner, Wagner, Debussy, Meynaud, etc.) and various radio recordings were made in collaboration with the Nuremberg Symphony Orchestra. In 2006 a CD with chamber music was released on the Naxos record label.

There are works in all genres.

In January 2020, the radio station SWR2 broadcast a one-hour portrait of Michel Meynaud by Philipp Quiring , who also created a directory of his work.
