Michel Modo

Michel Modo (actually Michel Henri Louis Goi ; born March 30, 1937 in Carpentras , † September 25, 2008 in Vaires-sur-Marne ) was a French actor , comedian , voice actor and screenwriter .

Life

Together with Guy Grosso , Modo formed the very popular comedian duo Grosso et Modo in France as early as the late 1950s . In Germany he was best known for the role of Berlicot, alongside Louis de Funès , Michel Galabru and Jean Lefebvre , in the Gendarme films. His work as an actor includes more than 90 film and television productions.

As a voice actor, he lent his voice in the French version of the Simpsons Krusty the Clown, Mr. Burns and Chief Wiggum.
