Michel Sauer
Michel Sauer (born February 28, 1949 in Titisee-Neustadt ) is a German sculptor .
Sauer studied at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Karlsruhe . From 1994 until his retirement in 2015, he taught as a professor of art with a focus on plastic at the University of Siegen . He lives in Düsseldorf .
Prices
For his work Sauer received several awards, including the Arts Award Young West (1972), the prize of the city of Dusseldorf (1977), in 1980 a scholarship at the Villa Massimo in Rome , in 1983 a grant of the Arts Fund Foundation and 1994 the price of the Villa Romana in Florence.
