Michele Cerrati

Michele Cerrati (born May 11, 1884 in Alessandria , Italy ; † February 21, 1925 ) was an Italian clergyman and Roman Catholic military vicar of Italy .

Life

Michele Cerrati received on 22 December 1907, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On September 15, 1920 Pope Benedict XV appointed him . as titular bishop of Lydda and prelate for the pastoral care of the Italian emigrants . The Secretary of the Consistorial Congregation , Cardinal Gaetano De Lai , ordained him episcopal on October 3 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the secretary of the Congregation for Extraordinary Church Affairs, Archbishop Bonaventura Cerretti , and the Bishop of Trieste and Capodistria , Angelo Bartolomasi .

On March 2, 1923, Pope Pius XI appointed him . also as military vicar of Italy.
