Michelle Wolf (born June 21, 1985 in Hershey , Pennsylvania ) is an American comedian . She is best known for her roles on The Daily Show and her own Netflix show, The Break with Michelle Wolf . Her appearance at the annual White House Correspondents' Dinner in May 2018 attracted international attention after a polemic in the American media.

biography

Michelle Wolf graduated from the College of William & Mary with a degree in kinesiology in 2007 and subsequently worked at the investment banks Bear Stearns and JPMorgan Chase . Around 2008 she took courses in improvisational theater and stand-up comedy . In July 2014, it had its first appearance in the late-night talk show by Seth Meyers . In April 2016 she joined The Daily Show team , led by Trevor Noah . Her comedy special Michelle Wolf: Nice Lady aired on HBO in 2017 .

In May 2018, she was selected to appear at the White House Correspondents' Association (WHCA) annual dinner .
