In 2011 Noah moved to the United States . This was followed by his first appearances on US television: 2012 in The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and 2013 in The Late Show with David Letterman . Noah was the first South African stand-up comedian to appear in the two US late-night formats . As of late 2014, he worked as the Daily Show's recurring correspondent with Jon Stewart .
