Mick Jackson
Mick Jackson (born October 4, 1943 in Aveley , England ) is a British film and television director .
Life
He became known as the director of the film The Bodyguard (1992), with Kevin Costner and Whitney Houston . The television movies Jackson made include Tuesdays at Morrie with Jack Lemmon and Threads . He has been a director since 1973 and has staged more than 30 productions, mainly for television.
He has received two Emmy nominations during his career to date and has won three BAFTA TV awards , one for threads . There are also other awards.
