Mielęcin [ mjɛˈlɛnt͡ɕin ] (German Mellentin ) is a village in the Polish West Pomeranian Voivodeship . It belongs to the urban and rural community Gmina Człopa ( Schloppe ) in the Powiat Wałecki ( Deutsch Krone district ).

history

Until the first partition of Poland in 1772, the place belonged to the Kingdom of Poland-Lithuania , and was then part of the Kingdom of Prussia or the German Empire until 1945 .

Mellentin was the seat of the Catholic parish of Mellentin.
