Mihály Bakos

Mihály Bakos (also: Miháo Bakoš ; * 1742 in Šalovci , Vas County ; † April 9, 1803 in Surd ) was a Lutheran pastor, teacher and writer in Hungary , the clergyman of the Slovenian population in Surd.

Bakos studied in Hodoš , his other places of study are not known. From 1779 he was pastor and clergyman in Surd ( Somogy County ), according to István Küzmics . 1784–85 he was pastor in Križevci , then again in Schomodi. Bakos was the dean of Schomodi and Zala .

In 1796 he wrote a hymn book and revised the catechism of Ferenc Temlin .
