Career
Majearu's career began in 1977 with FCM Galați . In 1979 he rose to Divizia A with his team . After relegation in 1981 , he left the club and joined the top club Steaua Bucharest . There he was able to fight for a regular place. After two placements in the front midfield, he reached the cup final with the club in 1984 , but lost to Dinamo Bucharest there . After the championship in 1985 , he moved with his club into the European Cup , where he won the final against FC Barcelona . By 1988 he won a total of four championships and three cup wins with Steaua before he left the club for the newly promoted FC Inter Sibiu . After two years in Sibiu, in which the club was able to place twice in the midfield of Divizia A, he moved to Panachaiki Patras in Greece in 1990 .
In Patras Majearu could not prevail as expected and returned to Inter Sibiu after a year. There were again two placements in midfield. In the summer of 1993 he moved to league rivals Gloria Bistrița . With his new team he moved into the cup final in 1994 , but he was not used in the win against FC Universitatea Craiova . He then moved to Corvinul Hunedoara in the Divizia B . As runner-up behind Politehnica Timișoara , he played the relegation game for promotion against Politehnica Iași with his team , but lost there. After another season in the second division at CFR Timișoara , he ended his career in 1996.
