Miles Olman (born February 23, 1986 in Rockhampton ) is a former Australian track and road cyclist .

Athletic career

Miles Olman was junior world champion in Moscow in 2003 in the points race on the track. At the Junior World Championships in Los Angeles the following year , he was first in the team pursuit and in the two-man team driving and won the silver medal in the points race. He was also an Australian junior champion in the points race. In 2006, Olman was national champion in the elite class in points driving and in two-man team driving (with Simon Clarke ). In the 2007 season he won the UIV Cup in Amsterdam and Dortmund with Leigh Howard .

In 2003, Olman won a stage of the Tour of Queensland on the road . From 2006 he drove for the Australian Continental Team Southaustralia.com-AIS , where he won a stage in the Tour of Gippsland in his first year and was second overall. In the 2007 season he was third in the national time trial championship in the U23 class and won a section of the Tour of the Murray River . In 2008 and 2009, Olman drove for the Drapac Porsche cycling team , then ended his cycling career.
