Militia Dei ( lat .: Soldiers of God) is a papal bull dated April 7, 1145, with which Pope Eugene III. confirmed the Knights Templar .

With reference to the bulls Omne datum optimum and Milites Templi , the Pope affirmed the independence of the secular clergy and strengthened the powers of the chaplains, since the order was now allowed to build its own churches . He gave the right to the Order taxes to levy and gave the military orders permission their dead in their own cemeteries to bury.
