Omne date optimum

Omne date optimum is on March 29, 1139 dated, by Pope Innocent II. Issued papal bull concerning the Knights Templar .

The order of knights recognized by Pope Honorius II in 1128 was confirmed and placed under papal protection. In addition, the general tax exemption for the Knights Templar was set again. Among other things, the order was granted the right to collect taxes, the right to bury members of the order and the right to erect churches.

The bulls Milites Templi by Celestine II ( 1144 ) and Militia Dei by Eugene III. ( 1145 ) extended the concessions to the order again.
