The Mill Creek ( English for "Mühlbach") is a small stream in Anderson County in the US state of Tennessee .
It rises near the hamlet of Mill Creek at about 370 m above sea level. After about two kilometers it flows into Norris Lake .
Before the Norris Dam was completed in 1936, Mill Creek flowed several kilometers further northeast. At what is now Pilot Island , the stream flowed into the Clinch River . Today the entire lower valley of Mill Creek is flooded.
