Millbourne [ ˈmɪlbɚn ] is a municipality in Delaware County in the US state of Pennsylvania . It is 0.07 square miles (about 0.18 km²) and with (2000) 943 inhabitants the smallest administrative body in the county.

Millbourne is about 9 km west of downtown Philadelphia and just beyond the city limits, which is formed at this point by the Cobbs Creek . The municipality borders on only two local authorities: Philadelphia lies to the north and east across the Creek, the border to the second neighboring municipality, Upper Darby , forms Market Street in the south and Chatham Road in the west.

In addition to Market Street, on which Pennsylvania State Route 3 runs, the Market – Frankford Line is the second dominant transportation infrastructure. The elevated train begins at the 69th Street Terminal on Market Street immediately west of the Upper Darby border, then curves north around the settlement and swings back onto Market Street just before the road bridge over Cobbs Creek.

The development consists of about a dozen blocks with row and single houses, which are wedged between the Market Street and the Market-Frankford Line; there are some commercial buildings on Market Street towards Upper Darby. The rest of the parish forms an extensive escarpment down to Cobbs Creek. Due to the non-separated development, the borough looks quite inconspicuous and is often incorrectly assigned to Upper Darby.

The Market – Frankford Line serves with the Millbourne station an intermediate stop in the municipality. Millbourne should be one of the smallest communities in the world with its own underground station.
