Milo Parker (* 2002 ) is a British child actor . He gained international fame from 2014 through his roles in the films Robot Overlords - Herrschaft der Maschinen , Mr. Holmes , Gespensterjäger - Auf Eisiger Spur or The Island of Special Children .

life and career

Milo Parker took an interest in acting as a fourth grader, working for the Youngblood Theater Company in London.

In Jon Wright's independent film Robot Overlords , he made his feature film debut in the supporting role of Connor . In the movie Mr. Holmes he was represented as one of the leading actors alongside Ian McKellen and Laura Linney . Two months after the premiere of the film at the 2015 International Film Festival in Berlin , another film starring Parker in the lead role celebrated its premiere with the international production Gespensterjäger - Auf Eisiger Spur by Tobi Baumann . In the film, which was shot in English and only then dubbed in German, he played the role of 11-year-old Tom Tomsky ( Tom Thompson in English ). At the time of the premiere, 12-year-old Milo was in seventh grade.

In 2016, Milo Parker starred in the series The Durrells with Keeley Hawkes . He took on the role of Hugh Apiston in the adaptation of the novel The Island of Special Children .

Parker is represented as an actor by the agency braidford willoughby hutton ( bwh ) based in London. So far he does not have a permanent voice actor in the German-language dubbed versions. Max Rinke gave him the voice in Robot Overlords - Herrschaft der Maschinen , while in Gespensterjäger - Pablo Ribet-Buse was his German voice.
