Milorad Peković (born August 5, 1977 in Nikšić , Yugoslavia ) is a former Montenegrin football player .
Career
Peković began his career at FK Obilić . In 1992 he moved to OFK Belgrade , where he was part of the professional squad from 1996. In 1999 he moved to FK Partizan Belgrade , but returned to OFK Belgrade in the winter of 2000/01, where he stayed for another 18 months. For the 2002/03 season he moved to Eintracht Trier . After the descent of Eintracht Trier in the regional league, he moved to the 2005/06 season for 1. FSV Mainz 05 , in which he had a contract running until 2010. On January 19, 2010 he moved to the then second division team SpVgg Greuther Fürth . His contract with Middle Franconia, which expired on June 30, 2013, was not extended. In 2013 he signed for two years with third division club FC Hansa Rostock . After 24 games in which he had scored a goal, he terminated the contract prematurely after a year, as the new coach Peter Vollmann increasingly relied on younger players.
In the summer of 2014, Peković signed a one-year contract with the southwest regional division Eintracht Trier , for whom he had already played from 2002 to 2005. He ended his career after the 2014/15 season.
National team
On September 12, 2007 Peković made his debut in the game against Sweden in the Montenegrin national football team . By 2013 he played 33 international matches and ended his career in the national team at the age of 36 after failing to qualify for the 2014 World Cup .
