Miroslav Holec (born November 8, 1987 in Czechoslovakia ) is a Czech ice hockey player who has been under contract with HC Olomouc in the Czech extra league since 2015 .

Career

Miroslav Holec began his career as a hockey player in the youth of the IHC Písek , for which he was active until 2005. Then the attacker played for two years for the first team in the third division 2. League, where he and his team in the 2005/06 season in the relegation round just missed promotion to the first division . In the summer of 2007, the left shooter was committed by HC Slavia Prague , for whom he played in the extra league for the following four years , while he was parallel for HC Rebel Havlíčkův Brod in the first division on the ice. With HC Slavia Prague, Holec was Czech champion in the 2007/08 season and runner-up the following year.

For the 2011/12 season, Holec moved within the Extraliga to HC Kometa Brno . With the club, which has belonged to the highest league since 2009, he was runner-up in the first year. With 19 goals and 18 assists during the season and playoffs, he was one of the most successful players on his team. In the following season, Brno had to go into the relegation round. In the 2013/14 season he was loaned to league rivals HC Škoda Plzeň halfway through the season. In the quarter-finals of the playoffs, he met his home club with his new team and was eliminated. The following year he was loaned out again, this time to HC Slavia Prague . The club was knocked off last of the main round and then failed in the relegation.

For the 2015/16 season Miroslav Holec left the club from Brno for good and joined HC Olomouc .
