Mirovyane Peak

The Mirovyane Peak (English; Bulgarian връх Мировяне wrach Mirowjane ) is a 1500  m high mountain in the west Antarctic Ellsworthland . In the Maglenik Heights in the north-central part of the Sentinel Range of the Ellsworth Mountains, it rises 3.46 km northeast of Zimornitsa Peak , 13.68 km southeast of Mount Schmid and 17.94 km north-northwest of Mount Besch . The Kopsis Glacier is to the west, the lower section of the Embree Glacier to the north, and the Young Glacier to the south of it.

American scientists mapped it in 1988. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2011 after the town of Mirowjane in western Bulgaria .
