history
Mischenried is first mentioned in the 16th century as the Schwaige of the Dießen monastery .
In 1752 the place still only consists of the Klosterschwaige. The chapel was added during the 18th century. From 1765 to 1848 Mischenried was under the jurisdiction of the rulership and later to the patrimonial court of Seefeld .
With the secularization of 1802, Mischenried fell from the Dießen monastery to Kurbayern . The Schwaige was sold to a private person in the early 19th century and subsequently changed hands several times. After a renovation in 1999, Mischenried is now used as a riding facility.
