Miss Grand International is the title of an elected beauty queen , which has been awarded every year since 2013 through a beauty pageant . It was introduced by Nawat Itsaragrisil , a Thai TV host and producer. The candidates are selected in national competitions and after an extensive media campaign , the winner is named queen for one year. The title is associated with numerous prizes and at the same time with obligations to the sponsors and prize donors of the competitions.
history
The first choice for Miss Grand International took place in Bangkok in 2013 , the first title was awarded to 22-year-old Janelee Chaparro . The show will be broadcast on the Thai TV channel CH7, YouTube and Facebook Live.
The first election outside of Thailand took place in Las Vegas in 2016, and in Phú Quốc the following year . As a result, the venue changed every year from country to country.
