The Mitbach a 4.5 km long tributary of the Veybach in Euskirchen . It rises near the cheap district at about 221  m above sea level. NN , then flows through the Euskirchen city forest and runs through the southern part of the city along the Mitbachauen and the Schillerpark into the city center, where it is on Gerberstraße at about 160  m above sea level. NN flows into the Veybach.

The so-called Mitbachanlagen and the Schillerpark are a popular local recreation area in the south of the city. Numerous factories of the Euskirchen cloth industry were located along the Mitbach until the late 20th century.
