Mitchell Villani (born August 13, 1987 in Adelaide ) is a former Australian ice hockey player who was under contract with the teams in his hometown ( Adelaide Avalanche and Adelaide Adrenaline ) in the Australian Ice Hockey League .
Career
Mitchell Villani began his career as a hockey player in his hometown with the Adelaide Avalanche , for which he played for the first time in the Australian Ice Hockey League in the 2006 season. After the team was disbanded in 2008 and replaced by the Adelaide A's (from 2009 Adelaide Adrenaline), the attacker joined the new team and won the Goodall Cup , the Australian championship title , with the team in 2009 . In 2010 he ended his career.
International
For Australia Villani took part in the 2004 U18 World Junior Championship in Division II. In the senior division, he was at the Division I 2009 and Division II 2010 World Championships in his country's squad .
