Members of the UN Human Rights Commission
The UN Human Rights Commission was an expert commission of the United Nations to promote and protect human rights binding under international law. It existed from 1946 to 2006 and was replaced by the UN Human Rights Council. The members were elected by the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations for a three-year period according to a geographical regional key, i.e. H. each region received a certain number of members.
