Mithat Yaşar (born July 27, 1986 in Turgutlu ) is a Turkish football player in the service of Göztepe Izmir .

Career

Yaşar started club football in his hometown in the youth of 7 Eylül İdman Yurdu . Here talent hunters from Beşiktaş Istanbul and Fenerbahçe Istanbul became aware of him and tried to poach him. After Beşiktaş's recruitment attempts were unsuccessful, Yaşar moved to the youth of Fenerbahçe in the summer of 2000. Here he received a professional contract in the summer of 2002, but played another three years exclusively for the reserve team. In order to enable him to play in a professional league, he was loaned to Mardinspor in the summer of 2005 . Here he only stayed the first half of the season and then spent the second half of the season as a loan player at Siirtspor . From summer 2006 he played one after the other for one season each with Tarsus İdman Yurdu and Giresunspor .

In the summer of 2008 he left Fenerbahçe and moved to the second division Diyarbakırspor . With this team he reached the runner-up in the TFF 1st Lig at the end of the season and thus promoted to the Süper Lig . Despite this success, he left this club at the end of the season and moved on to Çaykur Rizespor . After two seasons at Rizespor, he was hired by Gaziantep Büyükşehir Belediyespor . Here he dissolved his contract after just one season and moved to league rivals Göztepe Izmir .

Yaşar went through all youth national teams in Turkey from the Turkish U-15 to the U-18.
