Lahn-Dill newspaper group
The Lahn-Dill newspaper group includes a number of Central Hesse daily newspapers owned by the publishing house Wetzlardruck GmbH. The main edition is the Wetzlarer Neue Zeitung (WNZ). The sold circulation is 50,196 copies, a decrease of 39.4 percent since 1998. Measured by the sold circulation, it is the largest daily newspaper in Central Hesse and one of the largest in Hesse .
Lahn-Dill newspaper group
Wetzlarer Verlags GmbH & Co KG with the Lahn-Dill newspaper group merged as a new subsidiary in 2018 with VRM , which also includes Gießener Anzeiger Verlags GmbH & Co KG. It is meanwhile the daily newspaper publisher with the highest turnover and circulation in Central Hesse. The Federal Cartel Office approved the transaction on May 8, 2018. VRM Holding GmbH & Co. KG from Mainz has a majority indirect interest in the new company, the Mittelhessen media group.
The central editorial office of the newspaper group is located in Wetzlar , where the editorial cover for all current local editions is created and all editions are still printed.

Edition
Like most German daily newspapers, the Lahn-Dill newspaper group has lost circulation in recent years . The number of copies sold has fallen by 39.4 percent since 1998. It was last 50,196 copies. This corresponded to a decrease of 32,685 units. The share of subscriptions in the circulation sold was 92.2 percent.

On July 1, 2016, the Lahn-Dill newspaper group (Wetzlardruck GmbH) took over the E. Weidenbach printing and publishing house in Dillenburg. The Dill-Zeitung (until 2014 with the discontinued subtitles Haigerer Kurier and Herborner Echo ) as well as various advertising papers appear at Verlag Weidenbach to this day .
The entire “Dill-Block”, which also includes the Dill-Post , the Haigerer Zeitung (discontinued) and the Herborner Tageblatt , reached a circulation of 15,374 copies.
Gelnhauser Neue Zeitung
The central editorial office in Wetzlar also supplied the Gelnhäuser Neue Zeitung (circulation: 10,734 copies) with their coat until May 2010 . Since then, the cover of this newspaper has been supplied by the Oberhessische Presse (Marburg).
