Mizuki Arai ( Japanese 新 井 瑞希 , Arai Mizuki ; born April 14, 1997 ) is a Japanese football player .

Career

Arai played for the junior team of the first division club Kashiwa Reysol during middle school , and then during high school in the youth of the Urawa Red Diamonds . In January 2016 he moved to the Austrian regional league club SV Horn . With Horn he rose to professional football in 2015/16. He made his debut in the second division on the second match day of the 2016/17 season against SC Austria Lustenau , when he came on for Balakiyem Takougnadi in the 84th minute .

He returned to Japan in September 2017, where he joined third division club SC Sagamihara . In early 2018 he signed a contract with league competitor Kataller Toyama in Toyama . From August 2019 to January 2020 he was loaned to the second division club Tokyo Verdy. After the loan ended, he was firmly signed by Verdy.
