Gedeon Balakiyem Takougnadi (born November 16, 1992 in Lomé , Togo ) is an Austrian football player of Togolese origin.

Career

In his youth, Takougnadi played for SC Team Wiener Linien until 2009 , after which he moved to FK Austria Wien , where he first worked in the youth team and then in the AKA U-19.

As a professional, he first played for the second team of Austria, until he finally went to LASK Linz in Upper Austria in the third-class Regionalliga Mitte in 2012 . There, after a failed attempt in 2013, he and his team made it to the top in 2014 by relegating to SC-ESV Parndorf in 1919 . Before the start of the 2015/16 season, he moved to SC Wiener Neustadt .

For the 2016/17 season he moved to the newly promoted SV Horn , where he received a contract valid until June 2018.

After relegation to the regional league, he moved to the second division SV Ried for the 2017/18 season , with whom he received a contract valid until June 2019. With Ried he rose to the Bundesliga in 2020 .
