Julian Klaus Wießmeier (born November 4, 1992 in Nuremberg ) is a German soccer player .

Career

society

Wießmeier, who was born in Nuremberg, began playing football in 1996 at the VfR Moorenbrunn district club and then moved to SV 1873 Nürnberg Süd in 1997 . In 2004 he switched to the youth team of 1. FC Nürnberg , where he went through the other junior classes.

In his second A-youth year, the young striker recommended himself with 18 goals in 23 games. The then captain of the U-19 team was also occasionally used in the second team in the Regionalliga Süd. In November 2010 he received an early license agreement until June 30, 2014. In April 2011 Wießmeier was allowed to train with the Bundesliga professionals for the first time. At the end of the month he scored his first U-23 goal and shortly afterwards four goals in a U-19 game against Eintracht Frankfurt . Coach Dieter Hecking then called him to the end of the season on May 14 against Hannover 96 in the Bundesliga team, with which he immediately made his first professional appearance on the starting line-up and scored his first Bundesliga goal. At the end of August 2012 he was loaned to the second division SSV Jahn Regensburg for the 2012/13 season.

For the 2013/14 season Wießmeier was loaned to third division club SV Wehen Wiesbaden for two seasons . After only six months, SV Wehen Wiesbaden dissolved the contract and Wießmeier returned to the U-23 of 1. FC Nürnberg. At the 2015 season change, he moved to Austria for SC Austria Lustenau .

For the 2017/18 season he moved to league competitor SV Ried , with whom he received a contract valid until June 2020. With Ried he rose to the Bundesliga in 2020 .

National team

In the 2010/11 season, Julian Wießmeier was also considered for the first time for the German U19 national team . Then he played in the German U-20 selection .
