Marco Grüll (born July 6, 1998 in Schwarzach im Pongau ) is an Austrian soccer player .

Career

Grüll started his career at UFC Radstadt . After the 2011/12 season he left the club. After six months without a club, he moved to SC Pfarrwerfen in January 2013 . From the 2013/14 season he was used for the Pfarrwerfen fighting team in the fifth-highest division, from which he had to relegate with the club at the end of that season.

For the 2015/16 season he moved to the regional division TSV St. Johann . In August 2015, he made his debut in the Regionalliga when he was in the starting line-up against USC Eugendorf on matchday six of that season . In September 2015, he scored his first goal for St. Johann in the third-highest division in a 3-0 win against FC Hard . In his first season with St. Johann, he played in 24 regional league games and scored eight goals. In his second season in the Regionalliga, he also scored eight goals in his 29 season appearances. In the 2017/18 season he scored 15 goals in 29 games, in the 2018/19 season he scored 19 goals in 17 games until the winter break.

He then moved to second division SV Ried in January 2019 , with whom he received a contract that ran until May 2021. He made his debut in the 2nd division in February 2019 when he was in the starting line-up against SK Vorwärts Steyr on matchday 16 of the 2018/19 season. With Ried he rose to the Bundesliga in 2020 .

National team

Grüll made his debut against Norway for the Austrian U-20 selection in March 2019 . In October 2019, he made his first appearance for the U-21 team against England .
