Seth Paintsil (born May 20, 1996 ) is a Ghanaian soccer player .
Career
Paintsil came to BA Stars FC from Red Bull Ghana in 2013 , for whom he played in the Premier League . In May 2015 he moved to Finland to FF Jaro . He made his debut in the Veikkausliiga in the same month when he came on as a substitute for José Manuel Rivera in the 73rd minute against Rovaniemi PS on matchday six of the 2015 season . Between 2015 and 2017, in addition to his work at Jaro, he also did seven assignments for Jakobstads BK in the Kakkonen . With Jaro he was relegated to the Ykkönen in 2015 .
He scored his first two goals in the second-highest Finnish division in June 2017 in a 2-1 win over Oulun Palloseura . In the 2017 season, he played 25 games in the Ykkönen for Jaro and scored ten goals. With his ten goals he was the fourth top scorer in the league that season and the club's second top scorer behind Christian Eissele .
In August 2018 he moved to the Austrian Bundesliga club FC Admira Wacker Mödling . On his debut for Admira in the Bundesliga in September 2018 in a 3-2 defeat against SK Sturm Graz , he also scored his first goal for the club with the goal that made it 1-1. In two seasons in Lower Austria, he made 33 Bundesliga appearances in which he scored two goals. For the 2020/21 season, he moved to league competitor SV Ried .

His brother Joseph (* 1998) is also a soccer player.
