Michael Lercher (born January 4, 1996 ) is an Austrian football player .

Career

society

Lercher started his career at Innsbruck AC . In 2010 he moved to AKA Tirol. In 2012 he moved to Germany to Werder Bremen . In 2015 he returned to Innsbruck to Austria , this time to the second division club FC Wacker Innsbruck . He made his professional debut in July 2015 on the first match day of the 2015/16 season in a 0-0 home game against Kapfenberger SV . In November 2015, he scored his first goal in professional football in the 30th minute in a 2-2 home game against Kapfenberger SV.

In August 2017 he moved to Bundesliga club SV Mattersburg , with whom he received a contract that was valid until June 2019. The club stopped playing after the 2019/20 season. He then moved to SV Ried for the 2020/21 season .

National team

Lercher made his debut in March 2012 for the Austrian U-17 selection . In March 2014 he played for the U-18 team for the first time . In September of the same year he was used for the first time for the U-19 team .

In March 2017 he made his debut against the Netherlands for the U-21 selection .
