Modjieb Jamali (born April 30, 1991 in Kabul ) is an Afghan football player who was most recently under contract with the Spanish club CE Constància .
Career
Club career
Jamali and his family fled Afghanistan to Schwalbach am Taunus near Frankfurt am Main in 1995 at the age of four . He started his career at Kickers Offenbach before joining the youth team at FSV Frankfurt in 2008 . After the defender in the 2010/11 season twice in the second team of the Frankfurt in the Regionalliga Süd helped out, Jamali completed in the following season, a trial with the second team of the Spanish side RCD Mallorca ; an obligation did not come about due to a missing EU visa. After six months without a club, during which he trained at RCD Mallorca II, Jamali moved to the northern regional division FC St. Pauli II in January 2013 , where he signed a contract until the end of the season. He made seven appearances and scored one goal before leaving the club.
For the 2013/14 season Jamali rejoined his boyhood club Kickers Offenbach , where he preferably at the second team in the Hessenliga or after descending in the Verbandsliga Hessen played. In 2015 he left the club again and moved to the Romanian second division club CSM Metalul Reșița . There they rose as bottom of the table in League III ; Jamali completed a trial training session at the first division club FC Botoșani in January 2016 , but was ultimately not signed.
On January 30, 2017, the Afghan moved to FK Dečić Tuzi in the Prva Crnogorska Liga , the first division of Montenegro. He suffered a strain in May 2017 and was out for the rest of the season. In his first half, he came to eight league appearances. Then he joined the second division club CS Sportul Snagov in Romania for the 2017/18 season and then went on to Spain to the fourth division club CE Constància . Jamali has been without a new club since summer 2019.
National team
Jamali made his debut in the senior national team of Afghanistan on March 23, 2016 in the World Cup qualifier against Japan (0: 5). Jamali was also used in the following final qualifying game against Singapore (2-1). He played a total of eight games for his home country, but failed to score.
