Moe Oshikiri

Moe Oshikiri ( Japanese 押 切 も え , Oshikiri Moe ; born December 29, 1979 in Ichikawa , Chiba Prefecture , Japan ) is a Japanese model. She became best known for her work for the fashion magazine AneCan and its sister magazine CanCam . She also worked as a designer and brought out her own kimono collection under her name, as well as a stocking collection together with the CanCam model Yuri Ebihara called f * ing modesto .

biography

Oshikiri attended a public school in Matsudo . She moved to the 1st Shōwa high school, but left it prematurely. She then moved to Ichikawa-Nishi High School in Ichikawa, where she graduated. During this time she began her modeling career through publications in teenage magazine Popteen . After some time she tried to change her image and switched to ViVi magazine . After this attempt failed, she signed a contract with CanCam magazine in 2001 . After six years at CanCam , she became the top model at AneCan , a spin-off from CanCam that specializes in readers in their mid to late 20s.

Private life

  • Her parents divorced when she was in middle school.
  • Her boyfriend died when she was a high school student.
  • In 2003 she took part in the Honolulu Marathon as a runner. She finished him as 1130th in the ranking of women with a time of 4 hours 32 minutes 17 seconds.
  • In 2004 she again took part in the marathon in Honolulu as a companion to a blind runner.
  • She was seriously injured in Hawaii in February 2005 .
  • Her hairstyle was invented by her. It is sometimes referred to as oshikiri-maki . It is one of the most popular hairstyles among young working women.
  • She loves to read books. Her favorite author is Osamu Dazai , especially his novel Tsugaru .
