The Moe Point is a headland in the form of a unvereisten rock cliff at the Wilkins Coast of Palmer Lands on the Antarctic Peninsula . It is located south of the Croom Glacier on the northwest side of Smith Inlet .
The United States Geological Survey mapped the headland in 1974. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it after the American biologist Richard Moe, who worked at Palmer Station in 1974 as part of the United States Antarctic Research Program .
