Mogoditshane is a city in the Kweneng District in Botswana . It is part of the Gaborone metropolitan area . Mogoditshane is the fifth largest city in the country.

In 2011 Mogoditshane had 58,079 inhabitants. In 1981 only 3,125 people lived there.
Mogoditshane is located immediately west of the capital Gaborone .
history
Mogoditshane was created as a result of the rapid growth of the region around the capital Gaborone.
Economy and Infrastructure
Mogoditshane is on the A10 towards Thamaga and A12 towards Molepolole and close to the A1 , which connects Lobatse and Gaborone with Francistown .
The football club Mogoditshane Fighters plays in the 2nd division, the First Division South . He plays his home games at the Molepolole Stadium in Molepolole, around 50 kilometers away. 1999 to 2001 and 2003 the team won the Botswana championship.
