Mohammad Yousuf

Mohammad Yousuf (* 1908 in Punjab ; † January 25, 1981 in Rawalpindi ) was a Pashtun diplomat from Pakistan .

Life

From 1960 to 1963 Mohammad Yousuf was High Commissioner in London , was accredited as ambassador to the government in Dublin and had the military rank of lieutenant general .

From 1972 to 1977 he was ambassador in Bern .

family

Mohammad Yusuf was married to Begum Zubeida; her son, General Mohammad Yousaf (* 1937), coordinated the jihad against the Red Army in Afghanistan for Inter-Services Intelligence from 1983 to 1987 and was Secretary General of the Millat Party until 2002 .
