Molly Glynn

Molly Glynn (born June 14, 1968 in Hartford , Connecticut , † September 6, 2014 in Evanston , Illinois ) was an American theater and television actress .

Life

Molly Glynn was a well-known Chicago stage actress and also played several roles in film and television, including a recurring role on the television series Chicago Fire .

Glynn was raised in a prominent family in Hartford, Connecticut, the youngest of four children. She graduated from Tufts University and spoke several languages.

She was married to actor Joe Foust and had two teenage sons from a first marriage.

While on a bike ride with her husband on the North Branch Trail in Erickson Woods , northern Chicago on September 5, 2014, they got caught in a sudden storm with gusts of gusts over 110 km / h and took shelter under a tree. The tree fell on the couple and while Foust was not seriously injured, Glynn died on September 6, 2014 at NorthShore Hospital in Evanston as a result of her injuries.

By September 8, a GiveForward.com Memorial Fund had raised $ 135,000 .
