Molodija ( Ukrainian Молодія ; Russian Молодия Molodija , Romanian and German (until 1918) Molodia ) is a village in the south of the Ukrainian Oblast Chernivtsi with about 3800 inhabitants (2001).

Church in place

The village, first mentioned in writing in the 15th century, is the only place of the district council of the same name in the north of the Hlyboka district .

The village is located in northern Bukovina on the 34 km long tributary of the Prut , the Derehluj ( Дереглуй ) and on the M 19 highway . The district center of Hlyboka is 26 km south and the oblast capital Chernivtsi 13 km northwest of the village.
