Mona Grudt

Mona Grudt , also Mona Grudt Bittrick (born April 6, 1971 in Hell , Stjørdal , Trøndelag ) is a Norwegian editor , presenter , dancer , actress and former Miss Universe .

Life

Grudt became Miss Universe in 1990 and is still the only Norwegian who has ever received this title. During the competition she advertised herself as "The beauty queen from Hell". Her closest competitors were Carole Gist from the United States and Lizeth Mahecha from Colombia . A year later, she co-hosted the event. In 1994 she sat on the judges' committee of the competition. As an actress, she starred in an episode of the soap opera California Clan in 1990 and as Ensign Graham in the episode The Unknown Shadow of the science fiction series Spaceship Enterprise - The Next Century in 1991 .

In the Norwegian version of Dancing with the Stars Skal vi danse (Eng: Shall we dance) she came second. In 2010, she became the host of the seventh season of Norway's Next Top Model , which was released in 2011. She is currently the editor of the Norwegian wedding magazine Ditt Bryllup (Engl .: your wedding). She has written a book on the subject of wedding planning.

Grudt was married twice. From 1995 to 1999 with Lasse Berre, with whom she has a son, and from 2005 to 2013 with Brody Bittrick, with whom she has two daughters.
