Monika Brüning

Monika Brüning born Schwerdtfeger (born July 13, 1951 in Bremen ) is a German politician ( CDU ).

Life and work

Monika Brüning is a business IT specialist (FH) and also completed further training as a specialist in organization and as an organizational programmer . After working as head of accounting at the city of Wunstorf , she took over the management of the economic administration of the Agnes-Karll hospital in Laatzen . Then she was the deputy commercial director and head of the general administration of the Oststadt Hospital and the Linden Dermatology Clinic. Most recently she was press spokeswoman for the Hanover Clinic from 1998 to 2002 . She is a lieutenant colonel in the reserve.

Monika Brüning has been married to an Air Force officer since 1972 and has four children.

Political party

Monika Brüning joined the CDU in 1980 and has been a member of the board of the CDU district association Hannover-Land since November 2000 . Since February 2005 she has also been treasurer of the CDU regional association in Hanover .

Monika Brüning is also involved in the Frauen-Union (FU) and has been a member of the board of the FU district association Hannover-Land since 1997, since 2000 as deputy district chairwoman. Since March 2001 she has been chairwoman of the district association of the Hannover Women's Union.

MPs

Monika Brüning has been a member of the Wunstorf City Council since 2006.

From 2002 to 2009 she was a member of the German Bundestag and since December 2005 deputy chairwoman of the working group on the coast of the CDU / CSU parliamentary group .

Monika Brüning has always entered the Bundestag via the Lower Saxony state list.
